Coin-operated electric BBQ pits that save you the hassle of setting up the fire. The first time I've seen them was in Australia.
These can now be found at Sembawang Park in Singapore. And the NParks has taken pains to keep them shielded from the elements. These 2 BBQ pits and adjoining tables are sheltered so no worries come rain or shine.
Just remember to bring lots of aluminum foil to line the hotplate atop the pits.
